Brand Comms/Social Strategy

This blended role supports both the brand comms and social strategy teams.

The brand comms team assists in the development and design of internal, external, and social communications across the agency. The social strategy team is behind the development of creative concepts in the social sphere, partnering with brand creatives to deliver work that is social first and first to market. They are tapped into culture, experts in the social space, and have a unique talent for building strategic, content-driven storytelling backed by data, insights, and trend analysis.

This job requires someone who is comfortable managing multiple workstreams across two departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Play a role in conceptualizing social-driven, culturally relevant, data- and research-backed content and ideas designed to connect brands to consumers via social.
  • Monitor social trends in real time and identify ways they could be leveraged that feel authentic and in the brand’s tone of voice.
  • Draft and design compelling communications and content for PR outlets, award shows, trade organizations, and MullenLowe’s owned social and digital channels.
  • Provide support and insights in drafting briefs that inspire creativity.
  • Be the go-to expert on emerging social trends and community insights for the internal agency social team and clients.
  • Assist in the creation, conception, and presentation of social media strategy and integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Assist with submissions to industry award shows.
  • Assist in the production of internal case studies.
  • Post content to the company’s social media accounts.
  • Work with your team to develop monthly editorial calendars.
